Brian Monge is a poet, children’s book author, and graphic novel writer. He began his writing career in 2017. He began by writing short stories and later moved on to poetry; an art form he never expected to become passionate about. Monge devoted himself every night to reading great poets such as Pablo Neruda, Jack Frost, Langston Hughes, Charles Bukowski, and many more. He would read every night and then write poetry to improve on the art of cadencing and storytelling. As each night passed, he discovered the power poetry and writing had for conveying expression and emotions with precision. Never afraid to push himself, Monge challenged himself to tell complex stories through poetry.
Poet
Monges’s most personal outlet. He discusses his thoughts on oppression he has dealt with, his issues with anxiety, his thoughts on oppression around the world, and then balances it with his other side where he loves writing comical and cheerful content.
